    Vacation Care

Queen of Apostles Junior Outside School Hours Care has been operating for many years supporting the needs of families within the community. We offer before school and after school care with vacation care and pupil free days held at the Queen of Apostles Primary School Thuruna Street site.

We are proudly supported by the Our Lady Queen of Apostles Parish and have a caring and dedicated team of educators across both campuses. We provide programs and resources that actively promote the acceptance and inclusion of children of diverse ages, abilities, interests, family structures and cultural heritage. We aim to promote children’s growth, wellbeing, learning and development through our holistic approach.

We strive to foster and maintain positive, respectful and compassionate partnerships with our community through collaboration and sharing a common vision for the children.

At our centres we see children as capable and competent citizens. We strive to create an environment where they can develop a positive sense of identity and self-worth by providing opportunities for discovery, exploration and creation.

Play that follows their lead

Our spaces are designed around what children enjoy most — whether it’s a game of soccer, imaginative play, or simply relaxing with friends. By tuning into their interests, we create engaging opportunities that support active play, encourage friendships and foster social and physical development in meaningful ways.

Morning moments

At Outside School Hours Care, children can start their day with a healthy, light breakfast provided by our team. Whether it’s toast, fruit or cereal, breakfast helps children feel settled and energised for the day ahead. It’s a simple routine that supports their wellbeing and sets them up for a positive start at school.

Care that grows with them

Our educators take the time to get to know each child—their interests, strengths, and what makes them feel safe and supported. By understanding the individual, we shape care and learning experiences that reflect who they are and how they grow best. It’s a personalised approach that helps every child feel seen, valued, and confident to explore the world around them.
