Welcome to our Catholic Early EdCare Holiday Adventurers vacation care program, where your child will enjoy a relaxed, happy atmosphere filled with creative play and learning experiences.

Available at 106 locations across South East Queensland, our programs are designed collaboratively by families, children, and educators, and include a mix of incursions, excursions, educator-led experiences, and child-initiated play. Favourite activities range from craft projects and outdoor nature play, such as gardening and sports, to physical loose parts play like construction. These experiences focus on allowing children the freedom to play while enhancing their individual skills and interests. Newcomers to our vacation care receive personalised support from educators to help them make friends and engage in activities they enjoy.

We welcome all families, offering flexible attendance options, and our program is open to children from prep to grade six. For new families with questions, local service coordinators are available to provide more details about their specific programs.

Child care subsidy

Catholic Early EdCare is an approved child care service provider for the Australian Government’s child care subsidy. This means your family may be able to access financial assistance reducing your out of pocket expense. The level of support your family receives depends on a number of factors including your family’s combined income, the child care fees you are charged and the number of hours you and your partner work, train or volunteer in a fortnight.

To access the subsidy you will need to complete an assessment through Centrelink. To find out what support you are eligible for and to complete an assessment visit this website.

At Catholic Early EdCare, we prioritise healthy eating by following the Australian dietary guidelines, offering nutritious morning and afternoon tea options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, depending on the service. We encourage children to respect food portions and to line up patiently for their turn. We ask that you pack a nut-free, nutritious lunch for your child that doesn’t require heating or cooking. Don’t forget to include a refillable water bottle. For more information on our dietary guidelines, please visit www.nutritionaustralia.org
