We are located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School in Gatton and are part of the Our Lady of the Valley Parish.
Our program supports working families in the school by providing quality care to primary school aged children. We provide a safe, nurturing and caring environment for children to grow, learn and be happy.
We run a flexible and adaptable child-initiated program incorporating children’s ideas, cultures and interests. We view each child as having preparedness, potential, curiosity and interest in constructing their own learning and in negotiating everything the environment presents to them. We provide guidance and support to children so they can discover, explore and create something new everyday.
Our centre strives to foster a culture that celebrates diversity and interdependence and we encourage children to value and respect each other. We encourage free play and provide a range of indoor and outdoor, group and individual activities for children to choose from.
We are a small service and take the opportunity this provides to get to know all children and their families and work closely with them and the community to provide a quality care environment.
