Located in the heart of the South Brisbane health precinct, Clarence Street Early Learning combines the convenience of an inner-city location with architecturally designed outdoor spaces, maximising space and sunlight with indoor-outdoor spaces, garden play areas and open-air spaces that invite children to play, explore and socialise whilst purpose-built rooms provide age-appropriate settings for learning and growth.

Our caring team builds meaningful relationships with every child and family, creating real-life learning experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. We welcome children from six weeks of age, with dedicated nursery, toddler, junior kindy, and kindergarten rooms led by nurturing and fully qualified educators who support children through every stage of early development.

Our Queensland Government-approved kindergarten program helps children prepare for prep while fostering a love of learning, an appreciation of diversity and cultures. Families enjoy the convenience of all meals, wipes, sunscreen, and cot linen provided, with our onsite cook serving fresh, nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea daily.

With strong community connections, a personalised approach to enrolments and the ease of dedicated parking for smooth drop-offs and pick-ups, Clarence Street Early Learning is a place where children truly thrive.

Catholic Early EdCare Director

I’ve been a Director since:
2015. I have worked in the early childhood education and care industry for 32 years, including 10 years as an Assistant Catholic Early EdCare Director and Catholic Early EdCare Director.

My favourite thing about being a Director is:
I love watching children grow and thrive, mentoring educators, and building meaningful relationships with families.

Something I like to tell all mums and dads is:
Your child’s wellbeing is our priority, and we’re here to partner with you to support their learning and development.

My favourite way to relax is:
Travelling and spending quality time with family and friends.

Catholic Early EdCare Assistant Director

I’ve been an Assistant Director since:
2025. I have worked in Early Childhood for 19 years, including 3 years as an Educational Leader and the past 6 months as a Catholic Early EdCare Assistant Director.

My favourite thing about being an Assistant Director is:
I love mentoring and supporting educators while balancing leadership with hands-on connection, stepping into the room when needed and helping shape the vision of our service.

Something I like to tell all mums and dads is:

Fees are reviewed annually and may be increased each year. Quality care for children, affordability for families and financial viability of the service are the key elements in determining fees.
