St Luke’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located within the grounds of St Luke’s Catholic Primary School. We have developed close ties with St Luke’s and St Anthony’s Parish, and the school community.
Our program supports working families by providing a safe environment before and after school that is designed to cater to their children’s age, skills, interests and abilities.
We run a flexible and adaptable child-initiated program incorporating children’s ideas, cultures and interests. We view each child as having preparedness, potential, curiosity and interest in constructing their own learning and in negotiating everything the environment presents to them. We provide guidance and support to children so they can discover, explore and create something new everyday.
Our centre strives to foster a culture that celebrates diversity and interdependence and we encourage children to value and respect each other.
Children build friendships and confidence as they explore activities that match their interests, whether it’s creative indoor games or active outdoor play. Each session offers a balance of fun, learning and connection, helping them feel supported and engaged. Families can feel comfortable knowing their children are safe, happy and thriving while they get on with their day.
Children can enjoy a light morning breakfast and a tasty afternoon snack during OSHC, prepared fresh onsite by our team. A light breakfast helps them ease into the day, while our afternoon snacks keep them fuelled after school. From fruit and wholesome bites to simple handmade favourites, we make sure every child has the energy they need to feel their best and enjoy their time with us.
