Sacred Heart Outside School Hours Care is situated in the grounds of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School. Our program reflects and values the importance of play in childhood. Children are encouraged to grow and develop in a safe, caring and supportive environment where friendship, cooperation and mutual respect is encouraged. The OSHC environment, resources and equipment provide opportunities for children to engage in self initiated and spontaneous play.
We have a variety of warm and welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces for children to enjoy. Whether playing ball games with friends, getting creative with crafts, or enjoying quiet time on their own, there’s a space that suits every mood and interest. These flexible environments help children feel comfortable, supported and free to grow socially as they build friendships and navigate group settings.
Children are welcome to bring their own afternoon snack to enjoy during OSHC. This gives families the flexibility to cater to their child’s individual tastes and dietary needs. Whether it’s fruit, crackers or a homemade treat, a familiar snack from home is the perfect way to recharge after a big day at school and get ready for more fun and activities.
At Catholic Early EdCare, we believe children should help shape the fun. Our monthly Kid’s Committee gives them the chance to share ideas, plan activities and see their input come to life. Guided by our Educators, it’s a great way for children to feel heard, build confidence and take pride in their OSHC experience.
