Our Outside School Hours Care is part of Our Lady of the Assumption Primary School and St John the Baptist Parish community.
Our program supports working families in the school by providing quality care to school aged children. We provide a safe, nurturing and caring environment for children to grow, learn and be happy.
We have a flexible program that takes account of each and every child’s abilities and interests, and provides them with opportunities to explore, discover and develop new skills. We believe in fostering children’s independence and diversity, and incorporate their ideas into the program to support them in their journey of discovery and growth. We encourage free play and provide a range of indoor and outdoor, group and individual experiences for children.
At outside school hours care, children form friendships and learn to navigate group settings with confidence. Through play and shared experiences, our educators support them to build social skills, manage emotions and handle conflict with care — helping them grow into respectful and resilient individuals.
Each morning, the children can enjoy a light and healthy breakfast provided by our team. It’s a great way to ease into the day with a full tummy and a positive mindset. Whether it’s toast, cereal or fruit, we make sure they have the fuel they need to start their school day feeling energised, focused and ready to learn.
Every child learns in their own way. That’s why our educators take the time to get to know each child’s strengths, interests and needs. With flexible spaces and inclusive experiences, we support all abilities and create opportunities for every child to grow, learn and shine in the way that suits them best.
