Good Shepherd Outside School Hours Care provides before school care, after school care and vacation care for children from prep to grade six in a welcoming and purpose-built environment.
Our flexible, child-initiated program encourages children to explore their interests, creativity and individuality through a range of engaging experiences. Educators incorporate children’s ideas, cultures and interests into the daily program, creating meaningful opportunities for learning, play and social connection.
Children enjoy access to engaging indoor and outdoor environments, including natural play spaces that encourage exploration and active play. Healthy breakfasts and nutritious afternoon snacks are provided daily, with children encouraged to assist in food preparation and develop independence skills.
Our educators provide drop off and collection each day from Good Shepherd Primary School, supporting a smooth transition between school and outside school hours care.
We provide onsite long day care and kindergarten, supporting families, including those with younger siblings by offering consistency, convenience, and strong family partnerships.

Children can enjoy a light breakfast in the morning and a nutritious afternoon snack, both prepared fresh onsite by our team. The morning option helps them start the day comfortably, while afternoon snacks help replenish energy after school. With a variety of fresh fruit, wholesome choices and simple homemade favourites, we ensure children are satisfied and ready to enjoy their time with us.
Catholic Early EdCare is an approved child care service provider for the Australian Government’s child care subsidy. This means your family may be able to access financial assistance reducing your out-of-pocket expense. The level of support your family receives depends on a number of factors including your family’s combined income, the child care fees you are charged. From 5 January 2026, the Australian Government is introducing the new 3-Day Guarantee, making early childhood education and care more affordable and accessible for more families. Under this initiative, CCS-eligible families will receive at least three days of subsidised care per week (72 hours per fortnight), regardless of work or study commitments.
