We are excited to announce the official opening of All Saints' Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) at Boonah in the Scenic Rim.
We are excited to announce the official opening of All Saints’ Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) at Boonah in the Scenic Rim.
Co-located with All Saints’ Catholic Primary School and Boonah catholic parish, the new service will support working parents in the Boonah community by providing high-quality before- and after-school care and vacation care for their children.
Catholic Early EdCare Director Chris Lugg said he was pleased to partner with a joyful community to provide a safe and rewarding environment for children.
“Families are relieved with this extra support, providing a secure environment where children can make friends, learn, and enjoy their time before and after school,” said Mr Lugg.
“Our Boonah OSHC Coordinators and Educators are eager to become an integral part of the Boonah community, supporting local children and families.”
Our educators are dedicated to understanding each child’s unique ideas, cultures, and interests, allowing us to create tailored programs that support their growth. Our services are built on strong partnerships with parents, carers, and schools to enhance children’s education through high-quality programs that emphasise social, emotional, and physical well-being.
All Saints' School Principal Robert Campbell enthusiastically supports the OSHC program and the enriching activities it offers for children.
For nearly 20 years, Catholic Early EdCare has been meeting the OSHC needs of families, available to primary school-aged children up to 12 years old and are offered in more than 100 locations across South East Queensland.
As part of the OSHC program, eligible parents can also apply for the Australian Childcare Subsidy. To access the subsidy you will need to complete an assessment through Centrelink. To find out what support you are eligible for and to complete an assessment visit this website.
The OSHC service will provide before and after school care from 6.30am to 8.30am with breakfast provided, and from 2.45pm to 6pm Monday to Friday with a snack provided.
