How to support children to transition from screens
Transitioning children from screen time to other activities is not always easy. Here are three things you can do to support them.

Southern Cross Catholic College Outside School Hours Care will open in January 2020 providing before school care and after school care. We are situated in the grounds of Southern Cross Catholic College Woody Point campus. We are proud to support the families and children of the school, parish and local community.
We run a flexible and adaptable child-initiated program incorporating children’s ideas, cultures and interests. We view each child as having preparedness, potential, curiosity and interest in constructing their own learning and in negotiating everything the environment presents to them. We provide guidance and support to children so they can discover, explore and create something new every day.
Our service strives to foster an environment that celebrates diversity and interdependence and we encourage children to value and respect the individual uniqueness, spirituality and contribution of others.
