St Flannan’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) has been running since 2012. We are a part of the multicultural St Flannan’s community and we take every opportunity to develop children’s understanding of cultural diversity, heritage and traditions. At St Flannan’s OSHC children are encouraged to grow and develop in a safe, caring and supportive environment where respectful and trusting relationships with other children and educators are encouraged.
We are all passionate about early learning. Everything we do is for the benefit of the children in our care. Our qualified staff know that the best early learning happens in environments where children feel safe, loved and protected.
Every morning we gather together to share breakfast. The children are given the opportunity to choose what foods they would like to eat and to serve and prepare the food themselves. By empowering children to make their own choices and participate in daily living tasks, this routine helps children to grow confidently and individually.
The children have many opportunities for outdoor play at our OSHC. The school playground offers a fun way to stay active while encouraging children to grow socially by playing together and building friendships. There’s nothing like the joy of exploring, climbing, and playing together in the fresh air!
