When your child participates in a Catholic Early EdCare vacation care program, they will have fun in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, enjoying all kinds of creative play and learning experiences.

We offer vacation care at 89 locations across South East Queensland, at each service the program is created collaboratively by families, children and educators. The programs include a mixture of incursions, excursions, educator led experiences and child-initiated play. Some of the favourite experiences include craft utilising a range of mediums, outside and nature play including gardening and sports activities and physical loose parts play such as construction. We design these experiences with a focus on supporting children to experience the freedom of play and extending on their individual skills and interests.

If your child is new to our vacation care program their educators will take the time to get to know them, supporting them to make friends and immerse themselves in the experiences they enjoy most.

We welcome all families in our vacation care programs and children often attend a range of schools in the local area. Families have the flexibility to attend every day or on a schedule of days that suits you. Vacation care can be accessed by children from prep to grade six.

If you are new to our services and have questions about the program, your local service coordinator would be happy to speak with you and share details about their program.

Child care subsidy

Catholic Early EdCare is an approved child care service provider for the Australian Government’s child care subsidy. This means your family may be able to access financial assistance reducing your out of pocket expense. The level of support your family receives depends on a number of factors including your family’s combined income, the child care fees you are charged and the number of hours you and your partner work, train or volunteer in a fortnight.

To access the subsidy you will need to complete an assessment through Centrelink. To find out what support you are eligible for and to complete an assessment visit this website.
